God ****, I have everything hooked up and the radio is working great, all I need to do is finish the final touches and it won't slide in. Something is protruding and actually damaging the radio when I try to put it in 2 spots on both sides evenly. can you help? Here are pics

See the 2 knotches along the top corner? There's two at the same exact spot on the other side, something's up.

Thanks

looks like it might be catching on these?

I had them pushed in but they like curved due to the radio opening so I thought it was them and pulled them out, didn't work .

is this a Volkswagen???? or audi?

also try to bend the tabs with your fingers, the ones that lock and hold the radio. some times they are bent slightly to much from the factory.

but if it is a volskwagon, its the harnedd. you have to really make sure to push the wires below the HU and out of the way because they can be a *****!

take the cage out of the car and see if you can slide the radio in it. then once you can, install..
The din sleeve?

said this already, he seems to be ignoring this fact. trying to find a shortcut or magic answer when quite frankly there isn't one because we are on the internet. OP take the **** sleeve out. if it fits no problem, make sure you put the sleeve into the opening the exact same way (you might have it upside down) then make sure its the wires behind the radio not causing the last 2" to fully go in.
