was looking at getting these sets for my car

Alpine SPR-69

Type-R 6"x9" 2-way car speakers

Alpine SPR-60C

Type-R 6-3/4" component speaker system — also fits

hooked up to this deck,

Alpine CDE-122

CD receiver

would these be much better then my stock speakers even if i didnt get a amp for the setup? also will i need kick panels for the front speakers for my 02 accord ex coupe?

and if i ever decide to upgrade and get a amp, what do i need to hook it up a crossover? cause my deck only has rca for sub amp.

yes, they will sound better then your stock... how much better... well, without an amp, it will be limited... but still will be a very good improvement

and if you look to upgrade in the future, i would look to upgrade you HU... to something with pre-outs for you mids/highs.... otherwise you'll have to run a line converter, which can lead to a dirty signal

if thats the case im not going to get a amp later, i just bought this HU and really like it. what front speakers / rear would you suggest for best audio without a amp?

was really wanting alpine everything, was thinking about getting a alpine amp/sub later on possibly.

The sound will be better , but your bass will be less than what your stock speakers because those speakers handle more power and you wont be giving them much from your head unit. The ktp-455 amp would be a easy power upgrade and would make those typ-r get louder.
