The new article is even more ridiculous and racially written. Al Sharpton's comments are full of fail, along with the dingbat professor's statements. When will black people ever stop pulling the race card at every turn? I've been fucked with by asshole cops before, black ones a couple of times. I never even thought to throw the race card, I just chalked it up to some people are assholes and that's just the way it is.

so you know about the situation or what i personally have been though so you can comment about both. thats almost as good as the idea that blacks cant be racist because they are black bullshit.
you are a fucking retard. just because im white does not mean i havent been screwed by the legal system. i believe the cops made a reasonable arrest when a man started making a scene yes. not one article about this has said the cops were white either. they probably werent black but we dont know that. who knows what race they were.

the professor is the racist. He started talking militant crap when the man showed up and was arrested. Maybe Sharpton put him up to it so he could get his name out there as things have been slow since Obama president now.

I'm quite tired of black people expecting special treatment because their black. This whole racial thing that gets constantly pulled hurts their cause, everyone's cause really. A black person takes a racist attitude and their "proud", a white person takes a racist attitude and their nazi, redneck, trailor living, scum (has deerhunter chimed in yet?)

If a city has the highest fat rate, they have terrible diets. If a certian segment of society has a higher percentage of incarcerated people, well that's "racial profiling". I know there's alot more facts to that, but that seems like bs to me. When people have problems in life, it's usually their doing.

I work in a side of town that's majority black and mexican ("spanish" but from mexico), you have to drive out of this part of town to get to a real bookstore. People should take a little civic resposibility and better themselves by reading.

people of one race will not understand what its like to be someone of another race. I dunno what its like to be white, asian, mexican, etc.

But I do know what its like to be african american in america. I know what its like to have white women young and old clutch their purse when I'm on the same elevator as them, whether I'm in my work scrubs, a suit, or baggy jeans. I know what its like get pulled over for absolutely nothing, get a ticket, and not be able to do anything about it. I know what its like to be followed around in a store because the vendor thinks I'm going to steal something. I know what its like to be ignored by other vendors because they think I don't have money and can't pay for their merchandise. I know what its like to be called uncle tom for being able to speak in a proper manner as well as being called by white people the "whitest black person I know." I know what its like to be thought of as an affirmative action hire even though I have the best credentials at the workplace.

I could go on and on, but the point is my experiences won't be the same as many on this forum. I don't know what its like to be called racist for no reason. I don't know what its like to drive through a predominantly minority neighborhood and have people look at me crazy. I don't know what its like to not be able to say "white power" without looking like a neo-nazi or something.

We all have different stories, the only way to get past this racist shit is to talk to each other and try to have some UNDERSTANDING

I know what its like to be ignored by other vendors because they think I don't have money and can't pay for their merchandise.

This just doesn't happen to blacks. If I go to a jewelry store, I don't get service until I put the amount of money the object costs on the counter. Until then, I get no service, no smiles, no recognition that I even walked in.

jewelry stores are an exception for me usually. I guess they think black people like buying jewelry because I always get lots of smiles and attention. They also offer to do a credit check to see what kinda line of credit I can get in their store. It was crazy when I went to get my wife's engagement ring, I had never gotten that much attention in a store

lol...funny how that works. My whole reason for getting into car audio was because of jewelry. It was when Seiko had that automatic watch that winded itself when you moved your arm. I wanted one and saved up but couldn't buy it because the store wouldn't sell me one. (I even asked to get one and there was no one else in the store) So I left and bought a setup for my ride...I think I was 16 at the time. I haven't stepped into a jewelry store since and won't since everything they have is available online and for some reason, they are glad to have me as a customer.

Justice. Blacks commit more crime because it's accepted or even encouraged by their people. So it's only fair that people be a little apprehensive as the black man is statiscally more likely to be a criminal. Sorry.
