ok they got an aftermarket h.u and the suv came with a factory sub and sub amp.. do you guys think they would intertwine all the wires together including the speakers? he didn't hook the amp up but when he hooked the speakers up no sound is coming out... he is using the stock wiring.. so idk where the wires go to..

Sounds to me like you're using the factory wiring to try and install your head unit instead of spending $20 and making life easy by buying the correct wiring harness. If so, you are overlooking your amp turn on wire...

And say bye bye to the factory sub, cuz that isn't going to work anymore.

run new wires from the hu to teh speakers or buy the proper wire harness and use the internal amp.
