trying to help my friend pick an amp out

He just got a pretty good deal on Polk audio 212-2. Its 2 12inch polk subs already in a polk audio ported enclosure. It has 720 watt rms, its a 2ohm load,103 db sensitivity. He dont know if this amp is a good match. I told him it was but he wants your advice. He wants to get the kicker zx750.1 (which is the same amp i have on my sub) that has 750 watt rms @ a 2 ohm load. If yall have any other suggestions let me know so i can tell him.

zx750 will do fine, but is that 103db sensitivity the subs??? cause if they're that sens. then you don't need that much power.

I seriously considered getting those. Heard them in action too. Frys had them for 200 at one time, and i think recently at 150. I would go with the zx 750.1 as well. He should be ok with that.
