800 will buy lots of power, and your sub will love you for it. 2500 to 4000 watts and it will really come to life

Can anyone recommend a reliable 4000 watt amp for around my price range? I'm not really sure about the coils or actually very much about the sub itself. I'm trying to learn more about car audio and wanted to start by adding a little bump to my car. I'm open to all advice about wiring options as well as enclosures if anyone is willing to help.

2 Audioque 2200D's, they can be had for under 800 dollars new. Put your sub in 5 cubes tuned to 35-40 hz and you will be a happy camper.

well, we need to know the coil configuration as this will tell us what ohm load you need the power to be at.

And ****, what a first system to add a "little bump".......If given the right power i think this would be in the "big bump" category.....
