Trying to decide how to wire?

Okay, I have 2 MA Audio 120XE's. They have dual 4 ohm voice coils and are rated at 700w max and 350w RMS for each sub. I currently have a Pioneer 760w amp (will be upgraded later). But I can't figure out the specifications on the back. Here they are:

125w x 2 @ 4 ohms

(20 - 20,000 Hz THD=0.08%)

380w x 1 @ 4 ohms

(20 - 20,000 Hz THD=0.8%)

175w x 2 @ 4 ohms

530w x 1 @4 ohms

(DIN 45324, + B=14.4V)

load impedence: 2 - 8 ohms

input level 200mV - 6.5V

What is the THD and DIN stuff? Is this amp stable down to 2 ohms? I'm just trying to figure out how to squeeze the most amount of power from this amp to push these two subs. What would be the best wiring configuration to safely power the subs. If it fries the amp after a month or two, that'll just give me incentive to upgrade sooner. As long as it pushes the subs well and safely, I'm happy.

Well since the amp will do its max rated power at 4 ohms bridged, you need to wire your subs to have a final end load of 4 ohms. This is what you need to do (option 2). I would suggest that when you do upgrade, find a monoblock amp that is rated its max into 1ohm stable, since the subs can also be wired into a 1 ohm load, this will maximize the amp and subs potential:

your amp is 125x2 and 380x1@12.5 volts. it is 175x2 and 530x1 @14.4 volts. i used to have one of those. use az grower's second diagram and it will work but those subs will be kinda short on power. just dont clip the hell out of the amp and you'll be ok for now.

Thanks guys! Yeah, I knew the subs would be a bit underpowered, but I have the amp laying around, so I'm gonna use it for a little while. When I upgrade, my sister can inherit it.
