Trying to decide between these

I posted this in the classified but didn't get a response so thought it might be better here. I would love to get any firsthand experience with these two subs. So, let me know what you think, thanks!

I am torn between a JBL W GTI15 and a Diamond D9124. I know the JBL is a 15 but would it still have the SQ of the D9? I want nice SQ but still want some volume. I will be pushing it with a PG Tantrum 1200.1. I am reading great things about the JBL but not sure how these two compare? Right now I am running 2 Boston 10.5's and like the sq but they just don't get loud enough with the box in the trunk. I think I will use them in my Explorer where they don't have to go through a wall.

Which would you choose for good SQ and some volume?

It was in a thread with some JBLs for sale so it wasn't just a lame post in the classifieds for no reason.

The GTI's from JBL are pretty **** accurate subs. I very very much like them. The D9 is also a very clean sub. If you have the room, I would say snatch up the GTI. Send it 900-1000 RMS and she'll sing a perty little song for ya

Thanks for that input. That is what I am looking for. I wish I could hear one but don't know how this is gonna happen. Anyone else wanna chime in?

Ive heard the GTI Series.. and if you decide to go that route, your going to need every bit of that amp to push it..

Ive seen most of the installs not by JBL or a JBL dealer that has to push no more than RMS power for the sake of warranty runs around 2,000 - 2500 w per sub.. they are really accurate, and will rattle the glass out of your ride if you make a good box..

Never heard an RE - not much in the way of car audio around my neck of the woods. How would you compare that to a GTI?
