I am trying to decide should I go with 4 10s or 2 12s. The subs I am looking at are the RE Audio SRs in a sealed box. I don't know which set up I should do. So CA.com which set up would you prefer and why?
What kinda space are u working with that 4 10's take the same space as 2 12's??//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif.. Its usually 3 10's take the space of 2 12's..
Anyway.. If u have the mounting dept, go with the 12's. they will play a little lower than 10's and still be just as quick in a sealed enclosure.
personally i think 4 tens will be a little louder and sound probably better than 2 12's. 4 10's have quite a bit more cone area than 2 12's. if you got the money, space, and power to do 4 10's id do that.
