Trying to decide between amps in the classified section???

Right now i have 2 4ohm type-r 12's in a 4.4cuft box tuned at 32hz... i have been looking at amps in the classifieds that have not sold yet and am trying to decide on one very quickly, i need to purchase one ASAP!

Later (maybe a few months, maybe never) i plan on possibly buying 2 more type-r's, so that will make 4 4ohm type-r 12's on which ever amp that i end up buying... so keep that in mind.

my vfl 200.1 would work better then his 100.1's since the power he claims is nto anywhere near right *edit* sorry wrogn guy selling 100.1's that guy is realistic on his.

AB would be my choice of those... i dunno about the orion, but the rest do their thing at 17v.

i'd say fi you go with the 100.1's your gonna need 2 (if oyu get 4 type r's)

sorry, i should have posted that this will be ran off of a basically stock 12v electrical system (for now), i have no idea how i would get 17v out of a 12v vehicle??? i wouldn't mind doing a 17v electrical system on my truck if it isn't way to expensive to do... i already plan to have a separate battery just for my system.

if the 100.1's are like the 75.1's they'll go down below the 1 ohm mark easy. I wouldn't think you'd need to strap amps on an even number of subs. Maybe 3 of 'em, but not 2 or 4. Plus I thought you were looking for ONE asap.

The Orion is strapable. They do there rated power and more. It's not as powerful as some of the amps on the list up there, but they are nice amps.

check out that big 4000W Autotek in the classifieds. I'm not sure if the ohm load would work out, but it would be awesome pushing 4 Type Rs!

yes i am looking for 1 amp that would give 2 4ohm type-r 12's around 1000w to each sub and would also be enough power to hammer 4 4ohm type-r 12's if i chose to get 2 more later on, and would like to find one pretty soon before my 30days at best buy runs out and i can't take the amp i have back anymore (i have about a week and a half left)... i would just like the option to expand in anyway that i feel like later on if i choose to do so, but i could always buy the best i can find for my 2 12in subs application now and sell that later on or buy another of what ever i buy now to power the other 2. you get the picture, i don't know of any way i could put it to better explain myself.

To be helpful if you are a noobx to car audio, Go by amp RMS ratings in the 12-14v range since that's how you'll power it.

I had 2 AB75.1's run 1 at a time. .35 ohms.

I now have 2 IA20.1's strapped. .08 ohms.

Both of those amps go WAY below the 1 ohm rating. I'm not sure how low I'd take any of the others in that list...meaning you can just use the 1 amp for 2 or 4 of the R's.

As you are most likely aware there are 3 factors when looking at gear: Good, Fast, Cheap...pick TWO. G/L and post pics when ya install.
