my only problem is the owner filed bankruptcy and the agent has sense lost his business i guess. he has the title. im guessing the bank has some sort of lean on the truck? how would i go about getting a title for it? i want to buy the truck and make it my project since the volkswagon was sold. anyone ever been through the process or have an idea of where to start?

the truck is not able to be sold until the bankruptcy is discharged or the court says it needs to be sold to satisfy his debts.....end of story. after that you will have to purchase it directly from the bank if there is a lien

thanks for the offer but i will never buy a truck with suspension work or a blow through no matter who its from. i'd rather do it myself or have my friend do it at his shop. as for watching what i do, the truck is in my indirect family, and it's actually in my grandmas backyard.

i don't know how the situation is right now, and the ladies husband is in bad health from a wreck he was in that put a guard rail up against his side. the thing went through the firewall and through a car seat, and ended up pushing him. ruptured intestines and other things. i figured in this situation the money could help a little in their money troubles, i don't know if the state has a heart though.

ps- the truck is a beater, it doesnt run and has broken windows. i want to build it though. do banks usually **** people with pricing, or try to just get something out of it..

well how do i catch it in the process. u know before the bank A) crushes it, B)auctions it or C) the bank ships it to a yard.

the thing is, its my cousins. he loves the truck, and wants it to be his. and i was going to make the deal that if he would let me get it and work on it, he could help. in the process he learns about this stuff, i get him into it, and we build a kick *** ride. i would make the deal with him that when he comes down and its safe to drive, he can drive it. take it to shows, do whatever. its my truck, that he can use when he wants to show out a little.

this way, i build my custom, gain a mini truckin friend, he gets his truck better than he could imagine, and we hit the show circuit. i cant just "buy another"

Who has the title, the bankrupt guy, the agent, or the bank? If there is a lean on it, the bank has the title. You may try contacting them and see if they would be willing to let you take over payments(with the owner's/agent's/state's permission) or they may sell it outright to you. Either way, you would need to get something in writing saying that you bought it...
