Trying to build my first ported Box...

I plan on building a 2.5 cubes ported box tuned to 25hz for my 10" IDMAX sub. I was wondering how I could go about getting this much port inside of my box? Should the box be 45 inches long or can I make the box less wide and still be able to fit my ports in it? I need some direction.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif I have like 16 inches of height to work with by the way in my trunk.

Your box width would be okay at 45 inches wide. Now your height should be at 15 and the depth at 14.5. Now your port opening should be 3 and the port length should be at 26. All the sizes are in inches and this should bring you at your desired tune of 25hz.

The site below will give you an idea of how the box will look and you could mess around with the dimensions a bit to how you want it.

Hope this helps,

Where should I buy my port materials and what all do I need? Quantity wise and everything.
you use the same sheet of mdf. I fit a box that was 4.5 cubes double baffled on one sheet of mdf with some to spare!!!! you only need one sheet. and to wrap it probably get two linear yards and you should be fine.
