Trying to build credit....

I have a score of something from 640-680 depending on the agency. I am 20. Easiest way I would think is to get smaller personal loans and just make sure to pay them every month. I also have a car loan out which probably bumped it up also.

it wont matter in a few years as our banks collapse.........however I have a score of 780

because I keep my cards paid off,I only have 2,I have a mortgage and a car loan and Im never later

Avoid all store cards, avoid gas cards and avoid personal bank loans

LMAO Dave I know you don't have any money problems, but if you are serious about building credit, take a mortgage out on your house... say pull 60k worth of equity out of it.

Stick the 60k in the bank, make payments for two years out of the 60k, then pay the balance due.

You own your house, the bank will be more than happy to make loans against that equity bruh.

For what it's worth, two ex-wives have left me with a terrible credit score.

best way is to get 2-3 credit cards and only charge 100-250 bucks on each every month. You need to use them every month though. Make sure you pay them off every month also.

ok this is one of the fastest easiest ways to build credit. i did it myself to get my house. Find a friend/family with good credit and have them add you as a user on their credit cards (at least three). The credit reporting agencies see your name on a card that has xx years of good history and they automatically increase your rating. my score went up 50 points in 2 months. now of course the problem is finding someone that will trust you.

im not sure if any of my friends have credit cards but that may work....

I'm 23 and have only ever had one credit card. Started with a limit of only like $500 but I use it (and pay it off) quite a lot (I don't carry cash). In the ~5 years I've had it, my limit has risen to $4,300 so they must like me at least a little...

Wait, is this where we pretend that your half decade scam saying that everything you own came from credit cards that you opened and didn't pay off, never happened?
I had credit cards a couple of years ago when I was workin...Ive mentioned that...I also mentioned I no longer get them since I don't have a job now...

Go to a bank, get a loan and pay it off.
THis .. I had a 500 FICO score with all 3 bureaus and a 480 Auto score ( or whatever its called ) I got laid off, then ended up losing my job as the dbag I worked for filed bankruptcy, and this was when I was living 1200 miles from "home" Anywho

I got 1 $1000 secured loan, put the $$ back in the bank paid it off in a year, then did it again with a $2000 loan, Got ANY credit card I could ( ended up being Capital One ) with a $100 credit limit, never charged more than 20% of the card, and paid off one credit card I defaulted on, and boom , 2 yrs later, I am now @ a 692 ( as of last month ) it takes time, But luckily for you , your not in my situation, that meaning NO credit , is better than bad credit
