Trying to block a cingular caller

Ok there's this kid that keeps texting my girlfriend and shes getting tired of it. She asked politely if I didn't confront him, i agreed. She wants to know if there is a way to block his number.

She is Verizon and the kid is cingular. She has the envy phone too. (if that helps)

How would you go about getting his number blocked. Call Verizon?

yea i would confront him anyways, but in most phones you can add them as a contact and then block them from calling from there
