I once upon a time stumbled across a video of someone running dual 12s in a "walled trunk"

They claimed it seals better and gives better SPL, or something of the matter.

What's the down-low on a walled trunk in a sedan.

i told you. same thing. i can give you a few tips if you need. here are some pics of the old wall

used tape to form the foam

now the port in ANY trunk wall i feel should be on the drivers side. my new box (i dont have pics of it in) is alot louder with the port on the drivers side meter and ear wise.

alot of port area will come in handy. the best way to seal it is spray foam AKA great stuff in a red can. The black can is better but not for a new guy. ive found out the hard way.

also here is one more thing you COULD run into in expensive 2 door cars.

lexus acura mercedes some fords etc have this brace. DO NOT CUT! it will unbolt.

Anton Miller (Local in MN) swears that sub front (facing cabin) and port firing to the side on the drivers side sounds the best, and I tend to agree with him.

IE my box tuned to 33hz

in the car:

**AFAIK*But in relation to walling it, I believe it will act like a "Bandpass" within the cabin of the car so it may be louder with the windows down so if you compete take that into consideration of what org. you're in.

antons cavilier is nasty. Some cars arent made for walls. some are. I would have done subs up port back or side if i had the space. walled it because i didnt and it woiked very well. it depends on the application. design. and the person using it. i bet anton would gain subs up port rear. but who knows.

also if it isnt 100% sealed. its not worth doing(i mean even MM of space). VS what was your last wall? single walled 15s never do well. 2 12s or 2 15s are what work well in walls.

I haven't seen his process but he's said he's tried "all" variations and sub forward port side meters best in his car, so far on **** electrical I can get a 144@40hz off like

Once I get an H/O alt/after market battery under the hood I hope to put this Crescendo3KWP to better use and hopefully meter louder too;

so far on music I can get (highest I've seen so far for me) 131 @12" out the window on music.

Don't lie, you're quiet c: I'm wanting to try and trade/sell off my Zv2 for 2-3 XCON/ICON 10's and try that out, I've always run single 12's/15's I figure I'll try multiple 10's

wont be for long. 5-6k is coming as soon as i get done with finals and can rebuild. already talked to some teammates about dropping out for state/world finals as much as it pains me i might have to. i have no amp. and sold the ap before i should have..... i could have at least qualified for s3 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Brandons 1.2k that would put me in s2. or his brandx 8k that will put me in xtreme. all the other members have 1200 watt amps as well....... i nees a rated 1500 lol.. or it moves my class for world finals. eff it im not too worried. I cant believe out of the 4 sponsors i have. none will loan me an amp or 100$ to grab an ap LOL...

Shits tough, NESPL yeah? it ***** that they must go by amp rating then, MWSPL you can have an 8k amp but have it clamped during your run to make sure you don't go over say 3k.
