Im just into knowing why and what, LOL

I can ask someone else if you like. NO big deal. Because im sure im annoying the hell outta you guys //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

So then what it ported for? Just loudness? Bandpass is SPL and thats loudness and quality? Then sealed is for really only quality?

So with two 12''s in a sealed, (because they are so loud, sealed would be perfect.

Any disadvantages to a sealed? Like does it need a bigger box? Eaiser to blow them? Anything/

Dude , one more time. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

This setup WILL pound , is DECENT QUALITY , and sound good too . This is one online dealer , there are MANY others , I just threw them out as an example . You could go the Ebay route and maybe save a little cash but warrantee might be spotty , Ikes has a decent rep. and has always been good to me .

You could look for a prefab sealed box , most of them are made of 3/4 MDF and are 1.25 to 1.5 cu ft per sub which would work well with the Type R and save you the trouble of building your own enclosure .

Enough people have recommended the equipment . Time to shit or get off the pot dude !//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

I have 70 sq feet of deadner in my trunk and still get rattle and flex. Bass will cause flex. period. No matter what. Just think about it really hard. Thin metal vs subs pushing tons of air. Subs win. Now if you realy want to get into it you could build a false lid with 3/4 mdf, that might stop it. 2 10's will probably sound better and get louder than 1 12. Surface area. And this is based upon you having the right box and the right power. Good luck.
Well, I think that im going to get the two 12'' and put them in a sealed. Im not even going to worry about the flex. No big deal, its inevitable (sp). But whoevers, eh?
