trunk doesnt close

my trunk rattles even w/ second skin. if u push down on the trunk a bit, it doesnt rattle as much. any suggestions. its a 98 ex.

Pick up some weather stripping from your local hardware store and place it along the source of the rattle which is all the way around the edge of the trunk where it closes.

Now I am not sure which part is rattling but when I had a trunk I filled it with 2 inch foam and used Great Stuff as well

Never rattled again...

Have your friend sit on your trunk as you drive so it keeps it closed and doesn't rattle as much.

How much second skin? For the information you gave, you might have 200sq ft, or a six inch square.

If you take the time to provide information with your question, you might get more beneficial responses.
