Trucks gone...wrx is here

Hence the term 'rock crusher'. Straight cut gears.
Nice car duece.
Thanks man. They are still helical gears but have a lot of whine and definitely have that "rock crusher" sound on deceleration. I didn't plan to deaden the car at all but might have to around the transmission tunnel, the noise is a bit excessive for a daily driver.

any more pics?
Not yet, will have to get some on the dyno when it goes here in a week or so.

ins. on that has got to be high from what i have seen
insurance does ****, read an article about wrx's being number 1 for high insurance rates //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Car made 447hp and 450tq at ~26psi

For the sake of longevity cranked it down to ~22psi and ended up with 434hp 423tq. Its fun now

No, I changed my mind on that. Had bigger plans on the house currently so I bought a convertible 350Z back in September for my summer toy. Much less practical. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
And god **** did I dig up some horror stories on the Caddy's. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
nice, the 350z's are great lookin cars and seem to make good power.

Those cts-v's are pretty amazing cars, cadillac has never had good reviews as far as upkeep and problems though.

Shop I was at was doing a twin turbo install on a pontiac g8 while I was there...**** nice car as well

my dad has a 05 CTS-V

thank god he has the 100k mile bumper to bumper warranty. he bought it with 70k on it and by 75k he had exploded the rear diff //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

I believe you. They apparently fixed that problem in 06 but other issues still persist.
the stealership put in the new updated diff and anti hop bushings. he was pissed though, some story a G35 at light trying him and when my dad hit 2nd gear....hop hop boom //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
