truck sub

hmm ive never heard one so i dunno, but the type x is Alpine's "SPL" sub, i think ive heard that it still sounds good
Nope. The type x is meant to be more of an sq(l) sub than the r and in every app I've heard has sounded much better.

I agree there would better choices than the x. But I'd seal if you're going strict sq w/ the x. However I'd give them much more than 600 watts.

im giving the 1200 watts each lol
I thought you were using one kicker... 2 Kickers is an even bigger waste of money. You can hook the subs up two one kx1200 and get 1200 or hook each x up to a kx1200 and get 600 each. Kx1200s are specd to do 600 at 2 ohms.

so i go one ten ported to 32 hz for the best sq. or do i go 2 sealed for the best sq
2 twelves and maybe an 2500d? Or if ya get alpine dirt cheap maybe two mrd100* whatever they are now adays, depending on price.

2 sealed....but one ported and one amp would be the best bang for the buck
with a proper amp

i know its newb but i got two kx's in my truck already and kinda wanna match it. ya i know its dirt cheap he a car audio guy in lee summit missouri and he sells refurbs. so im probably going with 2 kx 1200.1s and 2 sealed type x's. and ya im going to 1/0 awg wire with the big three done in 1/0 awg too. i have an opitma yellow top. with this set up what upgrades would you make? alt? or two batt's?
