Truck got jacked Need new alarm!

get the basic scytek 2 way remote start, add in a back up battery, and glass breakage sensor since that was the method they used last time and will be back to try it again. on top of that add an extra siren inside and believe it or not with an extra relay add in 2 strobes, i have one under the dash and one near my amp wiring. makes it a real pain in the *** to jack with the cars wiring with it stuck in the dash and it going off day or night. also hook up the horn honk.

total cost if you DIY maybe 300ish

I like the following:Ungo-Used to be good

CodeAlarm-Used 3 different models on three different cars never had a problem but get a little pricey.

Viper-Got couple of friends with them and they really like them.

If you want to be on the safe side make sure you got an extra siren located in unreachable spot with a battery back up. I had someone really smart one time reach up under the truck and cut the power and ground from the battery and it killed everything. Thus the alarm never went of and they got all my stuff.

I also put air horns on one of my alarms, garranted you can hear that so can everyone else. Scare the Sh** out of you when it goes off.
im sorry i had to bump this...just to say that im sure that theif WAS real smart considering he obviously thought you had to cut the ground AND the power of a battery to kill power.....
