The entire premise he is using is interesting and progressive, however not beyond a reasonable amount of expectation.

This statement really attempts to draw me in personally. The reason for this is that he can't argue against theory, research, or objectively descriptive perspectives, but he can argue against a personal stance all day. This is his goal.

Additionally, he attempts to draw me into a double bind with wording, and its about time... Such behavior was highly expected in a situation like this.

Remember that 99% of the time, he won't care about the actual issue he discusses as much as he just wants to spark arguments or even hatred toward his alter-ego or "posting self."

The end question is progressive in his purpose because he is yet again reaching out for what he perceives as my personal interests.

Since my education has been called into question he tries to tempt me to humor his argument by wanting to brag about my scholastic merit. However, this attempt fails because the assumption he is making is that I want to show off my education, when in fact my only goal is to blatantly mentally profile him and his behavior.

Why because 1. I'm bored, and 2. worst case scenario I've got nothing to lose, best case scenario I have something to write a research paper about and he desists at trolling.

Regardless, none of his responses are beyond a measure of significant content analysis.

2. He is again attempting to draw me in with the temptation of defending my own personal intelligence, Trying this would be essentially the same as what he tried to do in his previous post to me, but perhaps he just wanted to give it another shot.

3. He is again being progressive and using another resource he has at his disposal. (the other forum members.) This is likely closest to his true goal because he has seen me engage other's arguments but not his own. This statement is a very common statement when the poster would like to discredit the other person in the eyes of other viewers. If he can get other viewers (who I WILL engage) to argue with me, by extension, he has engaged me. Even if only indirectly.
