Its to discuss trolls. They are welcome to post here as study sample.

In other words, Human intelligence allows us to understand concepts that govern our communication. In fact most of what people talk about discusses talking (or communication concepts) itself.

A dog simply barks to express a need or feeling, not to discuss why he feels that way.

Thus the problem of "trolling" is a mental dysfunction in the mind of the troll. He has lost the purpose of his communication and thus the problem cannot be solved by treating him as a lesser being like a dog. That will only corroborate the line of thought which leads to the behavior in the first place.

Well the only logical explanation in my mind, is that a troll:

suffers from a personal view of some kind of self imperfection or inadequacy.

Thus the internet forum serves as an outlet, by where, he can create a mask or external persona.

This persona is open to criticism and almost reaches out for it. This is so the person can distract others and himself from the truth of how they view himself.

Its a way to make their life seem more bearable. Even if its at an unconscious level. (in fact, most of the time it would have to be an unconscious level or the entire purpose of the persona fails.)

I have a similar theory on the mental processes involved with addiction or addictive personality.
