Treo CSX 18 Help

Ok so I'm looking at picking up a Treo CSX 18 local for cheap. The only thing it needs from what I can tell is the frame fixed and a recone. If I send the sub to Treo do you think its possible they could reframe it and recone it? I'm only payin $100 for the sub. If the frame work isn't that bad I could weld it together myself but I'm not sure on the recone.

Also, does anyone know if this sub would work in a sealed enclosure? I can fit about 5 cubes in my trunk and was wondering if this would be enough for this sub. If I really had to I could probably squeeze 6-6.5 cubes.

pretty sure the csx is their "comp sub" if it is, then a sealed enclosure will sound like ***..... matter of fact, if its the one im thinkin of, itll sound like *** anyway

yea DO NOT put it in a sealed enclosure...and Treo charges alot for 18" recones trust me i know...its like a $50 charge for a new basket and then another 150 for the recone then you also have to send them the sub and pay for it to be sent back cause they dont want anyone else reconin it....and just recone it to somethin smaller like a 15 so you can port it

Don't weld the basket yourself. Without a proper fixture it would warp and be off in some way and that would just make a lemon of a sub. Your VC would probably rub and your spiders would be all out of alignment and it would just keep breaking.
