need help deciding on how many cubes to give it and how big of a port and what to tune to. I still want it to sound decent but have no clue what to put it in. I have it in a old crapy box that i had laying around and did a 145.8 at the floor on a TL but i know i can do better. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

hey , hows it goin man. yea, i thought i would call them or just go hang around there shop for a while. figured i would post on here and see if anybody had any kind of long term hands on experience with these things. i even called treo and sent them a e-mail. they didn't answer and im still waiting on a reply....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif i know what your capable of doing and would much rather have you help me on this but i just wanted to see other peoples input just for ideas. i basicly have no contact with any people after the shows so i have to kinda just go by what i read on forums and sites

oh, and i like that s-10 they built on there with the 4 18"s doing in the upper 160's //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif and another thing, i just noticed your profile says your from mesquite, haha.. i had no clue

well not sure if this helps but I ran my 18" csx in an 8.5ft^3 tuned to 33hz, I know low but hey, and it was really loud. So you could always try say 6.5 or so tuned higher for shows. I know they like big boxes. Try calling them again they usually answer.

i have a hifonics zeus xi for now which is about 1100rms @ 4 ohms but im going to be running a treo 1500.1 as soon as i get a few things together. and as of right now in the crapy box there is none what so ever. but im sure its all due to the box not being right. it is not musical at all but i have heard the same sub get loud and have great sq and was very musical.

you would probably be better off running a ssi with the 1500.1.

yea, i took it out and measured everything. the box is only 1.42 cf after port displacement and tuned to 48 hz. hahaha... i could only imagine what it will do in the right box. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif its a wonder it did a 145.8. and when i said its a daily driver i mean i play it every now and then and want it to sound decent but i want to compete more than anything.

an ssi ? those things are only like 750 rms... i would cook one of those as soon as i fired it up. i think your talking about the ssx. and nah, im gonna do what i can do with these because i basicly got it for close to nothing

i was running 1100 watts to a pair of tsi 10"s. or 1100 to a single tsx 10". the treos are so underrated.

ok, so here is the deal. im think'n about going with 2.5 cf tuned to 42. is there anything wrong with that? 2.5 after sub and port displacement ? and another thing , what should i look for as far as vent mach ? it says 0.4 right now.
