Treo 3.1 Vs Treo SSX 1500.1

I'm just wondering if any of you know the exact specs of the Treo 3.1 in comparison to the SSX 1500.1... I know the SSX 1500.1 does 750 @ 4ohm, 1500 @ 2ohm and ~3000+ @ 1ohm. Is the 3.1 even stronger?

Your best bet is probably going to go get it benched and see what it does. Or give Treo a call and they might be able to inform you.

ya my 1500.1 said it put out 3142 or something at 1 ohm on birthsheet. The 3.1 is suppose to be I think either 2004 or 2005 Treo sponsored competitor's upgraded version of the 1500.1 I'm not positive if it actually puts out more power. I think they upgraded some parts so it just has a more solid build (for taking the abuse of comps better).

I would email treo. go to http://www.treoonline.com. I've sent an email several times and usually get a response beack within an hour or so, but definitely within the same day. I've done so during the mornings, thats the time I had quick responses.

I also recently saw an SSX 125.2 sell for 220 shipped on ebay brand new. my dumb@ss shoulda waited to bid instead of being impatient and bidding a day before. woulda been sweet to have matching amps. oh well. i know you can pick up used ssx1500.1's for around 400 shipped.

well if you look at other companies and their powerful amps their priced quite high as well. here are a few examples:

orion 2500d (when they had them) - 1600

orion 5000d - 1500

RF T30001bd - 1900

RF T20001bd - 1300

Lanzar OPTI4000D - 1900

Visonik V4000XD - 1600

MA Audio HK4000D - 1700

I think its fairly priced based on what it can do and its quality. Still, too much for my blood, but thats why I buy used or would go to a dealer to see what they can get it for me

Well guys they prices help alot, but I still cant find any info on actual rated power in correlation to the ssx 1500.1

As for now I can only assume the 3.1s do 3000+rms at 1ohm - I need to know it.

I reallly need to know what each of my 3.1s will do at 1.4 ohm though, that's what they'll be run at.

Carl did you ever get that paypal? BTW why dont you get the amp bench tested . I am sure it does 3000 @ 1ohm I have heard the 1500.1's do that, and I have also heard they only do 2500 on a 14 volt system. They are very solid amps. I had one, but I needed another to get the 5000 watts a I wanted. O well I ended up buying a DD Z1.

3.1 has the same board as a couple of other amps iirc.

20.1, that atomic amp, etc..
