ok, i am going to say it.it would be really easy to dremel the number off an anl fuse.then go to a trophy shop and have them engrave whatever number you wanted on it.a 300 amp fuse could be reborn as a 25 amp fuse.

That would be easily noticeable.

That would be rather noticeable by just looking at the fuse.

Not to mention it would look ridiculously large compared to another 25 amp (non-existant) ANL.

All fuses are inspected before your run and if there's any evidence of foul play they can DQ you on the spot. It's not a risk most competitors are willing to take.

Nobody ever said it's a perfect system, but it does work to a point.
