tranfers music from ipod to mac?

I searched and only found programs that will do it. Is there ne other way? I have the Mac OS X Version 10.4.11 and itunes is 7.6.2

you need a program. Google copy files on ipod. Thats what you need.

One of the reasons I dont use itunes

use winamp and the ml_ipod plugin instead of winamp, lets you download just as easily as upload music from your ipod.

the new versions of winamp have a plugin built in, also it's all free.

its EASY to do on a windows computer....im not sure if a mac has the same set up but.

open up .....lets say my documents

click on tools, then folder options,view, and the click on show hidden folders

plug your ipod in.

I may have to check this out, and see if it works. I personally cannot stand iTunes. I have an old, old, OLD computer, and it just can't handle iTunes.

I think im the only person who likes itunes

It has a built in encoder, you can pick mp3 or acx

built in burner

it will arrange all your files

and its free

I like it too. I use to be able to transfer the music to a pc but since i got this mac,,,,, no sir'ry
