Not at all, that is what I started at here I am now at almost $27/hr after seven years. We could both make more probably somewhere else but to me at least the low stress, laid back atmosphere and the fact I can wear shorts and a tshirt to work all summer long > getting a few bucks more an hour.

i hear ya... im in Maine and there is no job close to $27/hr unless I take the director's job here lol... I dont do helpdesk stuff any more, I am a tech manager. My average pay is pretty darn good for up in my neck of the hood.

meh i wont go into too much detail but im grateful to have the job i do, and the people who i work with (a total of about 5) are great and my boss has gone out of his way numerous times to make sure I'm taken care of... in the winter he has let me work from home so I dont fly off the road and kill myself in the fun maine winters (plus I drive 46m each way to work).
