The trade thing works like this:
a) you see a car you like
b) they ask how are you going to pay
c) you say a trade + loan (or just a loan since you have to pay off the old car)
d) they say " I will give you $xx,xxx for the car and you will have a loan for $zz,zzzz.
e) you ride off into the sunset

You still owe on your current car if the dealer does not give you enough money to pay it off. You will have two car payments and only one car.

.. Duurrrrrr.. bring it to the dealer, say u wanna trade it in on another car... they drive it, tell u what its worth..... If its worth 8 then u fuked 6k.. So if you buy a car thats 15k ... it just went up to 21k
