Touchscreen monitor install

To see what it may look like, I cut the center out of the panel and dropped the monitor down in there.

Needs a little more trimming, but it will fit very nice.

Not too big, not too small. Keep the vents for that cool AC. And it is all touchscreen operated. Coolness.

so is that black piece that's there just a trim for the screen? i'm guessing so because theres gunk all over it.

Looks like the housing of the monitor, you just screw the monitor back into it (maybe?)

I took the screen apart and just mold the face to the panel and then screw the monitor back together.

 

 

The tan colored areas are spots where I shaved off the 4x4 delete panel and the airbag on/off switch. Also shaved off the air vent direction wheels.

This is for a 2001 s10 in NJ.
