have a friend who has a suburban and i am looking for a rough guestimation on a total length needed for a big 3 upgrade and power to the rear. anyone installed a system in one and have an idea?

In my Yukon it takes 17ft of wire to get behind the back seats. It doesn't take much to run from the alternator to battery. Plan on at least 20ft of power wire.

how many ground wires does your yukon have? i want to redo all the grounds possible and order everything at once, plus a few extra feet just in case.

To ground from the battery to the alternator bracket and battery to the chassis takes less than 3ft. My amplifier's grounds are bolted to the chassis under the back seats. They are about 3ft each but could be shorter. Basically I have less than 9ft of ground wire. The total length you need is gonna depend on where exactly you'll be mounting your amplfier(s).

you dont own a measuring tape? Need to get people on a forum to do everything for you?

take what you think you need and add like 5 ft to it just in case. sucks to be in the middle of running your wire to find out your only a couple ft short.

nothing like bringing back a 2 month old thread. are you really that upset that i told you to read the manual for your hu? it must **** to have nothing better to do than take the time to go over all the posts i made and try to find something to knock on. if you had spent less than half the time looking for the manual as you have put into this futile effort you would have found the answer right away instead of wasting a few minutes of my life. did you happen to notice no one else even replied to your thread?

if you had actually taken the time to read this entire thread you would have seen that it was 25 outside, so measuring and coming up with a final number was far from a priority.
