Total Mobile Audio - Used it?

Has anyone used or know someone who has used Total Mobile Audio. They were bought out by JL Audio, but theres not much of them going around from what I can tell. They are more of an entry level amp, but that is what I am looking for //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I am just wondering how the quality is on them or if it's just equivalent to buying a Power Acoustik...

Reason I am asking is I can get a T500.1 for $110 shipped to power my JL 12w3v3-2

I would love to have a high end amp, but I am not really into car audio much. I just want some bump in the trunk... and I am not really willing to spend $600 on an amp

the TMA amp does 340 at 4 ohms so you will be fine

i have owned the tma500.1 for over 2 years. It does rated power which is 340rms x1 @ 4ohm and 500rms x1 @ 2ohm both at 14.5volts. It is a very reliable amp and deff. gets the job done. DO NOT LISTEN TO pootie. He has never owned it obviously and does not know what he is talking about. TMA 500.1= good shit. I dont know about any of their other equiptment, but the 500.1 is wonderful! i have it powering my 12w6v2 and its great. It also powered my 15"IDQv2 and 10"idqv3 to their full potential.

just b/c they bought the company doesnt mean its a great product, but they did do a great job on the 500.1! maybe their other amps and subs and speaks too, but i have never experienced them 1st hand.

Wow its funny how people flame a product just because it doesnt cost hundreds of dollars or isnt mainstream...the Tma 500.1 amp was the first amp i had on my jl 12w6v2 and it was solid it absolutely did 500 watts and back then i was a lil bass head //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif and i drive around for hours pounding...im in the caribbean so its always very hot here so it gets warm but never shut down thermally..the guy i sold it to still loves it ...personally i think its a good bang for the buck lil amp..

Ps...i bought the amp mid 2005 and its still going strong

i sell tma, and its pretty good stuff. Its basic stuff that has a big heatsink, good boards, crossovers. Its simple stuff that gets the job done. There component speakers are worth a look at. We got 3 guys that put them in their own cars at our shop.

I have owned Tma it was my first amp and fit my budget and in my opinion its a pretty solid amp for the price
