Most of the recommended Rapidshare hacks (ie. setting the javascript timer to 0 so you can download right away) don't work anymore.

I haven't had any problems downloading from there, but I use Album Wash. I find it to be a bit better.

Newsgroups are nice...I personally use Alt Binz instead of Grabit. Never liked Grabit.

Haven't tried that. I'll give it a shot. Grabit always has sufficed for my needs, which are mostly downloading linked .NZB as opposed to fishing through actual newsgroups...only exceptions being needing a really recent release.
