u would have more cone area but u would need a bigger box. would u build the box or have to pay out of your pocket to have it built for you?

another thing to consider would be your electrical, if thats up to par for your plan, then id say get the 18, a box built for it, and a real good amp

DC unless you can find a Solo-X for cheap, that thing will stomp most subs in terms of SPL... don't sound that good but who cares.

it would probably be louder because of the increase in cone area, but a lvl4 isnt going to stomp all over the kicker unless its a cvr.

lol I saw a 2 db gain switching a pr of cvx's out for a pr of lvl 4's. I'd say thats a stompin lol

the cvx's aren't that bad but even if you were comparing 15's to 15's I still see the DC taking this.
