Top Speaker Brands

Hey guys and gals, I am looking to get speakers for my 2011 Challenger and I am curious on what peoples opinions are of top brands. It's been almost 8 years since I have bought speakers. I do know though that what my intentions are plays a huge part. Its my daily driver and I have grown out of the "heavy" bass, plus I will be getting a sub, so sound quality is my main concern. I have 6 speakers and honestly I have never seen them laid out like this. I have always been use to the 6 x 9s or similar size in the deck and 5 1/4, 6 1/2 etc in the front doors but mine have (2) 6 x 9s in the front doors and in the rear deck are both (2) 6.5s and (2) 3.5s. I listen to all types of music from heavy metal to orchestra etc. I know the 2nd part is money, so I of course am not wanting to spend hundreds on speakers and don't wanna cheap out. I appreciate everyone's input and assisting me with this!

What is everyone's thoughts on the Focal 690CA1 SG 6 X 9s?

Have you considered building a plate to cover the 6X9 holes in which you could mount a normal round driver? It would give you far more good options for drivers.

Hertz Audio makes my favorite in their High-Energy and Mille line. i build adapters for the front 6.5's and mount the tweeters up near the a-pillars for stage height.

You could have a great sounding 3-way 6x9 system for the front, then upgrade the rears later.
