Top and Side post battery

Duel post batteries can be very helpful.
They can come in handy if your car is a side post type to begin with.

So yes, its OK to use them both.
Ok I figured they are just connected internally anyway. I have ran a amp off my top post previously for a short time..but figured I'd ask because I didnt know if it damage the battery. Also, I have read conflicting opinions on this.

How about if I do my big 3 on the top posts and leave the side posts the way they are currently. Will that work the same?

yes. they wont hurt the battery by using both top and side posts.

i love using dual post batteries, you can leave the factory wiring alone and easily add new wiring.

my new battery, group 34/78 AGM

in an accident in the same corner as the battery, the battery is screwed regardless of type. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif but, what is important to consider are exposed terminals and exposed copper. a much higher possibility is a wrench getting between them. i prefer terminals that are covered.

i have covers for my side posts that are not in that picture.
