thanks for the help. Is the panasonic CQ-VD7003U any good? I'm debating between the panasonic and the pioneer AVH-P5700DVD.

the panasonic has a nice picture but sucks for sound quality and settings, The 5700 last i knew didnt even come with a remote you had to buy it for an extra 0 bucks. that kinda sucks to me.

I have the last model of Kenwood, the KVT-715dvd. I am not overly pleased with the actual look of it, but the performance is great. Picture is great, sound and features are great. And it plays virtually everything. I'd look to Kenwood for the price. Touchscreen works great as does everything else. Now if I could just find a remote control since I lost mine.

thank you guys for the great advices. Panasonic has 7" lcd touch screen, built in auxilary inputs, dobly and dts decoder, i'm not sure if the deck is detachable (it would be nice). Pioneer 57000dvd doesn't have 7" lcd, auxilary, and dolby/dts decoder. So talkin about sound quality, if you have a dts music cd, wouldn't the panasonic top pioneer?
