and to find out the things are wearing....

what and how is this happening? and what can i do about it?

it was in a sealed enclosure....and its going into a ported on in the future.

and then they might be too short causing them to be damaged more.
honestly from what i see i wouldnt worry about it.

after 2 weeks of bumping the thing.....from brand new...

its kinda worrying me.

should i cut off that little extra piece on there?

 
will ported box help because it seems that the heat will disperse alot better than my box right now does...

Can't really say. Assuming you leave everything else the same and change the box, then you will have more excursion; and if tinsel slap is a problem for you, then you can potentially break the leads eventually.

However, those don't look bad at all. Remove the extra strand sticking out.

 
idk if you guys can see it but the part that is broken off is burnt....

and...

there is small (tiny) spots on the spider were the threads have been hitting....

i hope this does not become a big problem for me in the future...

and if they do snap...is there anyway to get new one fixed for really cheap? with a plastic jacket maybe?
