Would 1200WRMS to my DD 1008a's be too much? Or, would I be able to do it safely, with gains set respectively? Amp is being kept secret for now. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif
He's pretty knowledgeable, especially with DD equipment. I'm guessing if he told you its fine, you're safe.I don't know. The 1000 series isn't listed, as far as I could find. Louisiana_CRX told me I should bridge my 1100D with another and give them more power than what I had to them (750WRMS for the pair). I THINK they're rated at 300WRMS, but not sure. I know I should keep it at/near recommended power, but for the same price as an amp that would power then at 300-400WRMS each, I can get a 1200WRMS (True power) amp.
That's what I was thinking. He had a few DD1008a's, and I'm fairly sure he had a great amount of power to them, of course I do not think he used them in a daily vehicle. I'm not even sure if he knew I was using it for daily when he told me that. If he'd ever reply to my PM's, I'd PM him, and ask him. He's pretty knowledgeable, especially with DD equipment.
