sometimes jail is not enough for someone, a good old fashion beating is.

that guy seems like he must like jail so jail will be no big thing for him.

Kinda like kids in school today. Do something very bad and you get "time out"

When I was in school, if someone did something bad they got their *** busted in the principal's office.

Kids then thought twice before doing whatever they did again.
