Today i got metered at a local shop: 150.6

everyone knows you dont need a lot of subs after alan dante posted 181.2 with one DDZ 18"
180.7 official in dB Drag for Alan.

But true.

With decent power levels and a good enclosure and build, you can do very nice numbers as you are also proving with your score. Headrest is also more difficult to hit high numbers and thats what really impresses me, your number should go up at the dash.

FYI, I just tested the AC190 against the TL and depending on frequency the were 1.5-2 dB different. The AC reading louder.

yeah i expected it to be about 2 db's lower than TL, but also, this was just a safe test run and my HU didnt go over 25 with a max of 50. Also, my gains on my amp and HU were under 1/2. My setup has a lot more in it then i'm letting it do i'm just trying to be safe because i'm not 100% sure how to set levels safely and get the most output out of my setup, and i'm switching subs/amps next week so i want to be able to sell this stuff in perfect condition.

and mark munson did 169.x with 1 dd 10
Nate Munsun actually. And it was pre-termlab (AC190 iirc), but still very very impressive and I agree imo that's really the setup that made people realize how much could possibly be done with so few drivers. It was a wake-up call for me I remember.

I know Im very late on this but. Im my case from what I seen and what my TL tells me that the AC190 square audiocontrol sensor is like dead on with the TL. Buy like .1 .2 db +/-

if you are right that would be amazing. it sounded **** loud to me. those meca tones have so much gain. ive never played tones on my setup before today and it blew my mind. everything in my car was jumping around.

There is always a sweet spot for volume and gain. 100% up doesnt always translate to higher dBs. this is because clipping, heat, distortion, lower efficiency, higher power draw, non-linear movement all come into play.

So level adjusting can take alot of work. And if you change your setup it all can change.

If you are going to sell soon I wouldnt go crazy, your number is already good.
