To use hertz esk speakers for mid bass or not.

i have Hertz esk 165.5 2 way component set

I want to go 3 way. So my question is.

Would it better to run the 6 1/2 speaker as solely midbass and then get a mid range speaker, Run the midrange speaker with my tweeter in the a-pillars

or

Would it better to just sell the 6.5 speaker and spend the money on a dedicated midbass driver along with getting a dedicated mid range driver as well.

Add a midbass

Midbass comes from install mostly.

Then do what with the 6 1/2? Id be putting the midbass in the 6.5 door spot.
