i kinda figured it was just out of habit, but still, kinda funny.
thats like goin to taco bell and askin if they still sell tacos, wtf??!!
haha i know..

yeah then like in my first 2 weeks this guy shortchanged me that fckin douche.. he was like 300 pounds and ordered 1 mcdouble and paid with a 20 then i put it in the drawer and he was like oh here use this 1.

so i gave him the 20 back and put the 1 in and he said hey you gave me a 1 not a 20 (after he put the 20 in his pocket and pulled out a 1) and i was like uhh.. no i didnt..

so i just gave it to him anyway cuz he was making a huge scene and so i said dont give him that mcdouble while i get this drawer counted.

so as soon as start walking away he yells at me to give him the mcdouble and i just said hang on. and about 20 sec later he just yells fck this and walked out while i was in back..

got written up even though i knew what was going on and i was new..

Managers are fucking dumb. Just follow the rules, no ability to think for themselves.

I work at Best Buy too, and haven't had too many retards. I just get the rich uppity faggots from surrounding "rich" neighborhoods. Other than them, easiest job I've had.

i install for best buy, so my ridiculous experiences outweigh this on a daily basis. im almost certain i deal with the worlds stupidest people every minute of every day at best buy. i cringe when the phone rings, only to hear the same stupid ****ing questions about remote starts, and how everyone thinks we do everything for free and they all think that amps magically power themselves without wire, and how cars dont need any extra parts for radio installations. i hope one of my managers sees this message.

btw our budget got cut so bad this month i practically am not working at all. i really cant understand it being that the entire year of 2009 we were well over 110% of our labor budget and at the end of every day. cant speak for the other stores, but i can see mine is running itself into the ground.

what a great thread for me i work at walmart unloading trucks. i will b pulling a pallet to on the floor and i get at least 2-5 people a day ask me if i work there. nope i just like to do this , i have a lot of free time. our backroom is near the auto section and there is allway people tryin to buy some shity dual deck or sony sub that walmart sells. i find my self at least 2+ times a week tryin to get people to understand that crap is crap lol.today i had a woman ask me where the bread was i did my best to help here and i told her to turn around . lol

oh yea i been at this walmart for a few weeks , keep in mind im still the new guy and one of the over night mangers came in the back all pissed cuz we did not have the truck done. they were like you all stink at unloading trucks and i should fire u all. at that point i said u know what my 8.90 a hour dont mean shit. i asked the manger if i can talk with her and she said fine. i went in the office and said look i would like to talk with you. i could of been a jerk in front of everyone. i have to say you were wrong on every level and you dont ever talk to me like that again. she said first i was not talkin to you , thats when i said u used the words you all etc etc. i have to say stay away from walmart keep in mind most of there mangers where people who started as regular workers and for the most part there all dicks

I work for an ice company that delivers to wal-mart and my uniform shirt is a lighter color blue and would coming out of receiving and it never failed that people would try stop me to ask where something was. It irritates the hell out of me. I mean read my shirt Arctic Glacier not wal-mart. For gods sakes i'm wearing shorts I've never seen a walmart employee wearing shorts.

Not the buck the fun here, but usually when people ask 'do you work here', they already know the answer, but are simply trying to let an employee know they need help with something. Yes, there are better ways to get their point across, but that's how it goes.

thats fine expect I don't work for walmart. I'm a vendor which means I make more than a wal mart employee and don't need to deal with their customers

lmao, my dad went into mcdonalds, and got a coffee, the girl asks, did u want it for here or to go??, he laughs and pays, and in the process decides to get a cookie, she asked again, for here or to go, he laughed and said r u kidding me, whats the difference, the coffee is in a cup, the cookie is in a bag? she didnt get it, he let her keep the change. lol
she need the cents?

On one of my shifts, a lady and her friend bought some stuff that came out to $6.66 after tax. She got all frantic and couldn't get clear words out so her friend abruptly told my coworker to not charge her for something but to keep all the items. My coworker offered to add the smallest item (like $0.50) but they said no.

My stupid coworker gave in. Jeez

Well if you want to be that way, any decent vendor will treat their customer's customers respectfully and be as helpful as possible. Not walk around with a chip on their shoulder thinking they are above dealing with those people.

then you don't understand how walmart treats their vendors. If you dealt with them you'd understand that you want to get in and get out of there. No vendor likes going to a walmart. Its a fact. Vendors even discuss it when there is not walmart employees around. The company makes you not want to deal with their customers. If I like the account then I am more than happy to help their customers but wal mart is a living nightmare to deal with

Then drop them as an account. I understand more than you think. You are more than happy to take their business and their payments, but arent willing to act in a manner befitting a loyal vendor.
Exactly how does Wal Mart treat their vendors badly?
