so i work at best buy, on the floor, in car fi.

ive had my fair share of morons, people who ask "whats friction?" or, "do u work here?", while wearing a best buy shirt. or my favorite, "where are your electronics?" but today i got a moron, who actually called back to b1tch about me d1cking him over.

dude comes in, clearly an idiot. says he has an 01 or 02 sunfire, that had a radio in it. says it got stolen. he asks me if a pioneer would fit, but he said he had a pioneer before it was stolen. so i proceed to tell him, single din is always single din, he acts like he understands, but it was obvious he didnt. so then he asks again, if it would fit, im kinda confused, since i said yes, and explained why. so then he asks, "would the wires i already have work with this pioneer" "yes, every radio comes with a new harness, that just gets spliced into the wires u already have, assuming the wires are fine, and in tact"

45 mins later he calls b1tching that i ripped him off, the radio doesnt fit blah blah blah. he says hes sitting in his living room trying to hook it up and it doesnt work, he plugged the harness in the radio, and it didnt work. he admits not wiring at all, but feels i ripped him off. he wants a mamnger, and wants free install. i explain to him he needs to put red to red, white to white etc... still, he claims i lied. get a manager, and he wants free install, manager chuckles and said, "we cant do that, since there is no legit reason, so you can pay for install, or exchange it, have a nice day" click.

anybody experience anything like this in retail

I used to work at a rita's water ice when i was 15 and i also got some like 40 year old fat mom that asked me if i worked there. while wearing the rita's shirt and freaking visor. haha i have seen my share of idiots at my job i work at tj maxx people are always trying to bring in obviously stolen items that we cant return then complain about it retail sucks... especially this time of year not having enough hours is bad on my bills lol

well we dont return electronic auto parts you know relays sensors etc if they have been plugged in and we make it clear when they purchase the item

yet they still come back and try to return it when it clearly has the marks of being used......and then the arguing starts.....and we just say sorry that wasnt the problem wiht your car but we dont return used electronics at all

lmao, my dad went into mcdonalds, and got a coffee, the girl asks, did u want it for here or to go??, he laughs and pays, and in the process decides to get a cookie, she asked again, for here or to go, he laughed and said r u kidding me, whats the difference, the coffee is in a cup, the cookie is in a bag? she didnt get it, he let her keep the change. lol

ur at best buy??? cuz i think she originally told him he couldnt return it cuz it was plugged in, but he can exchange, it and wed charge him 15 percent restocking fee
