To everyone running audiopipe...

I think most are happy with it. Though I do want to see some power tests where clipping is measured. Most people are just clamping away on their Audiopipes, but I don't know if the output is clean because I have seen some claims of like 5500 watts from the AP3000 on 16V or something like that and I just have my doubts. Probably only 2500-3000 of it usable (unclipped).

I am getting my hands on some and will test them, I am also looking into beefing them up with better parts for when they all start breaking maybe I can sell an upgrade for them to do way more than rated power, albeit not necessarily reliably, but if it only costs a few more $$$ those chinese factories won't spend it on the amps, but the owners of the junk might.

what about the crunch gp3000d pro's ill send one in so you can beef it up.I think you could sell a ton of them

No the parts are not yet availible to beef that amp up, the output mosfets must be able to handle 400VDC and currently there are no offerings in the 400VDC and up range for High Current mosfets. but in those weenie little AP amps that use 100-200 volt rail voltages there are BIG *** RATED mosfets availible for those. And they may help it some, at least to quit blowing up easily under extreme low ohm loads.

I saw it somewhere in one of those ****ed RD vs Sundown or Sundown 1200 vs Audioque 1200 or something like that threads... go look. I got to go....

I think most people are happy with them so far. They may not be up to par on design and build quality with others that are popular here like RD, Sundown, Audioque, etc but I think for the price they cost you can't really go wrong, those bastards are CHEAP $$$.

new audiopipe is kinda not that great but oldscholl ap is awesome. i have the audiopipe gd-6001 and i have burped it .25 at the show many times. and with the new sub it will play daily on .35 ohms. most unclipped power this amp will do is a little over 4100 rms @ .25 ohm on 18 volts. oldschool FTW!
