Then he claims his hands are so sore that it feels as though he's been stroking his own boner for three months straight.

Then he claims his deadener - that made his hands so sore - does a good job as a result of his soreness, despite the fact that he admits that it's "ghetto."

Why do they refer to those products that use asphalt bonded to a mylar/plastic or aluminum sheet as "peel n seal."

Asphalt is a binding agent used to make blacktop out sand and recycled car tires (among other things, I'm sure). How come when you drive down the road the pavement doesn't "deaden" the noise and vibration caused by your tires rolling over it?

A far easier solution is know and understand that FatMat is not deadener. It's disqualified for the reasons outlined above. I've used fatmat, damplifier pro, and dynamat extreme. Even if they all damped and stuck the same fatmat would still ****, reason being having to heat and roll and heat and roll and then heat and roll some more sucks balls. Dynamat extreme and damp pro are much easier/quicker to apply.

I did support what i said read all my posts in the thread if ya feel like it. Also ant didnt come with anything... in a nut shell he said if you use the other companies product its toxic and cancer blah blah

guess what....

for anyone who wanted to know.... its still sticking... freezing cold right now and its sticking. Honestly i dont know as of this second since i sold the jeep over a week ago now but i do know it is probably still sticking as it has been for the last two years.

By the way, when i used it on the jeep in question. I had this box layin around in my garage for over a year before i even used it since i got 4 the time before that. So not only does it do what its supposed to but it was a year plus old and did it. All while applied in around 40 degree weather at nights when i had time in a non heated garage without using a heat gun. The only time a heat gun was used on that install was for molding some plexi to seal some holes on the door and hatch.

Not much on that isntall, only right under the factory rear sound bar. that didnt fall either... I did cover a roof of a 3000gt in it though and it was fine on that car as well.

bump, just for fun to laugh i purchased two more 100sq ft rolls for my new silverado and the c5 im gonna buy next month... ill enjoy my cheap non working non sticking mat that happens to work well and sticks like super glue for me!
also i would enjoy a cookie.

There's more to deadener than it sticking. Glad it suits your needs. Fatmat is still crap. You're just too cheap to buy good deadener. I guarantee if you buy Damplifier you will notice a difference. Or maybe you're too stupid to notice.
