what's "loose spl"? Is that what 18 inchers make because they aren't tight like an 8"?

What?

Yes, an 8 can play as low as an 18". But not as loud (for a given wattage). It's just physics. 18's have more cone volume = more SPL. Ten 8's can out perform a single 18 (for teh same wattage) because they will have more cone volume.

I'm not sure what they hell your trying to say.

A good 6" midrange can play well below 20 hz, just not very loud.

LOL....... I bet you money a 8 in a box tuned to 25 hz will play lower than a 15 in a box tuned to 70 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Thats right....those companies sit around all day... finding new ways to make subs and what not.... Kind of funny how those top 3 companies probably dont even make the subs that are seen at finals //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
