Sorry, but are you really arguing a 15 or 18 inch sub will play a given note with a greater SPL then an 8 inch sub?

This is common sense.. An 18 has so much more cone area and potential displacement then an 8 it's not even funny. Given the same power, no shit the 18 will win.
