To All Kicker L7 owners

L7's sound okish. I always mess with them when i go to my local car audio shop. Whats odd though is the fact that one day i was at the city's coliseum at one of those lil expos where they sell the lil off brand car audio things. And i heard two l7 knock offs made by pyle and, im sorry, but i thought the pyle's sounded better than the kickers. I dont know what it was man. But the "pyles" of shit sounded better.

My 8L5 sounded better and got louder in a 2.5 ported box. kicker says 1cube max for it. So yea, i think they work better in a bigger box

I got two s12L7 in a sealed box that is one cubic foot for each and they hit pretty good. Would rather have a ported box though

"This sub sucks. It sounds like crap." -Sure it does, HOW? Enclosure? Amp? Do you **** at installs?

Anyway, last night I installed a new amp in my buddy's civic, driving 2 12"L5's. Small sealed box, response was tight and accurate. Solo-barics, just like the majority of subwoofers CAN sound good with a correct install.

about the hifonics part, that is music to my ears, sick about hearing about them and seeing them. now to get back on topic, L7's pound hard, and can sound good doing that. i was almost tempted to get 2 15's instead of my xxx.

ive got 2 12 l7's in a ported box running to one ohm and the sq is G O O D. how many of you that actually heard a decent install with them i dont know but i had laws electronics build mine for me and they sound **** good. they quake anything within 20 or more feet and sound terrific in the cab.
