g1 owns the iphone. im on my g1 right now. i wouldnt get it on any other service that g1 because the 3g internet only works with tmobile

That's negligable. T-Mobile's 3g coverage is a complete joke. They shouldn't even be allowed to say they have a 3g network. Also, I don't knw why i would only work on T-mobile if you have a 3g card for another service (granted, I don't really know the specifics of how 3g works, but it seems to me that an unlocked 3g capable phone with a 3g sim card should get 3g coverage)

yess I have HTC Fuze aka Diamond Pro. Flash it With a Lite rom, and your good to go. I got mine running constant 590mhz and some overclocking bursts of 630mhz. Fastest, smoothest phone ive ever owned. and the keybord is amazing.

The g1 uses google gmail to boot up ur phone and run it and I think tmob is the only one with serv for gmail like that built in so unless you have tmob it won't talk to the network. Its a new beast.

Naw, booting up with gmail doesnt having anything to do with service, its a GSM phone, which means 3g Service is at 1900hz ans 2100hz radio. This is compatable with AT&T, and Alltell. Verison and Sprint are CDMA phones, their cells phone work off of different bands. So if is unlicked, It would work with tmobile, AT&T, and Alltell.

Now for that i thought they were gsm, but i can be pos sure lol. if they are cdma then no it wont work either. But CDMA bands **** anyway. You want a GSM band, they are higher hz and have better quality for signal and bandwidth.

I thought it was cool. It's just bulky in my opnion. Reminds me of the xbox 360 power cord brick...only with a screen. But I love my iPhone too much to goto any other phone. However it does lag at sometimes, but the overall phone out weighs that. I have the 1st gen one before the 3g.

I like my sidekick slide just fine. That G1 i saw it not my style x2 on to bulky and i don't like the style of opening at all.

I was a G1 owner for about 4 days.. I couldn't stand the **** bottom of the phone when trying to text..

It just sucks that the CDMA carriers offer the best coverage in my area. I think the best bet around here would be Verizon, because they have a great 3g network and great voice coverage in my area. I'm on ATT right now though, and the GSM carriers seem to have the nicer phones.

i thought it had some good features, but its retardedly bulky for a phone.
I got the samsung behold instead. Smaller, and does everything i need out of it.

Got the same thing. I love it. Has all the features i would need for a phone
